Founded in Sharjah in 1974, Swiss Arabian was the first perfume manufacturer of any scale in the UAE, and built its reputation on oud, musk and amber attars at a time when the Gulf market was served almost entirely by imports.
The house maintains both a traditional Arabian line of concentrated oils and bakhoor and a Western-style spray range. Shaghaf Oud is among its widest-known modern releases.
