Ajmal began in 1951 with the trade in agarwood itself rather than finished perfume, and that vertical position (sourcing, distilling and blending in-house) still defines it. The company operates its own agarwood plantations and distillation facilities.
Its catalogue runs from traditional dehn al oud, sold by weight to connoisseurs, through to conventional retail sprays, which makes it one of the few houses fluent in both markets.
